Marinated Chuck Steak

Ingredients

4 lb. chuck steak

¼ c. water

1 ½ Tbsp. meat tenderizer

Marinade

1/3 c. honey

1/3 c. lemon juice

¼ c. soy sauce

3 cloves garlic

Step by Step Instructions

Mix all the marinade ingredients together.

Moisten both sides of the chuck steak with the ¼ c. water and sprinkle with meat tenderizer.

Place the chuck in the middle of a double thick, lightly oiled heavy-duty piece of tin foil.

Cover the chuck with 1/3 c. marinade.

Seal the foil up tight and place on medium-hot coals for 2 hours.

After 2 hours, remove the chuck from the tin foil and grill over hot coals for 30 minutes.

Baste with remaining marinade, turning occasionally.

Cook until meat is nice and brown.
